Not saying this actually looks like the subject, but I sketched this while waiting for my producer to come screen a George Lucas interview I edited.

He comes across as very intelligent about crafting his stories. I’ll just assume he was high on bath salts when he did the most recent Star Wars trilogy.

The man is clearly a genius.

Long day! So, for lack of anything better to post, here’s the initial sketch that evolved into the dog painting posted previously.

As I’ve mentioned, digital painting is a great way to kill time on an overseas flight. I took this photo on Saturday outside of an enoteca in Florence. Using some of the concepts I learned over the last few weeks, I was able to paint this freehand in a couple hours. Thus proving that the most time-consuming part of oil painting is dealing the messy paint!
