After over a week of downtime I finally got back to the rough draft of my graphic novel today. Hey, if your school was underwater, would you do your homework?

Hey, haven’t done one of these in a while. I was watching a video on using gradient maps in photoshop, and realized it was a technique I’d never tried for colorizing photos. Turns out it works pretty well, and you can easily toy with different color schemes.

I realize it’s useless to draw Ariana as Snow White when the original photo is so cute, but I had to see how it compared to last year. Apparently she’s a lot taller, and I can draw maybe 1% better. Woohoo!

I wasn’t sure how I was going to meet my blog quota, until I chatted with my friend about the marathon she’s running in Antarctica next year!
