As suspected, I got more done in class than I did all week at home.

Invisible Art

I seem to have a hard time being productive outside of class, so I went ahead and laid out the panels and dialogue for the entire book, and tonight in class I’ll work on filling in the actual artwork.

I’m constantly redrawing the first two panels. Not sure why I masochistically started off the comic with several close-ups of hands.

Bored at work? Draw what’s on the screen! (Unless it’s a spreadsheet. That’s boring.)

Shrinky Ink

Maybe this is just another form of procrastination, but I wanted to see how my inking would look shrunk down to the size in which I’ll be printing my comic book. As you can see, I’m not really shrinking it all that much. A real comic book artist might work on an 11×17 sheet, but I’m sticking to letter size for convenience sake.
